Social Service Appreciation Course
Explore a Meaningful Next Chapter in Singapore's Social Sector
"Many experienced professionals reach a stage where they begin asking deeper questions. How can my experience continue to matter? Where can I contribute in ways that create real impact? Is there a place for people like me in the social sector?"
The Social Service Appreciation Course is created to help experienced professionals explore these questions thoughtfully and realistically. Together, we build a stronger bridge between corporate expertise and the organisations working on society’s pressing challenges.
Why This Course Exists
Singapore’s social sector is facing increasingly complex challenges in mental health, ageing, and community care. Agencies are seeking experienced professionals to strengthen capabilities in strategy, operations, HR, and digital transformation.
However, transitioning is not always straightforward. Many professionals are unsure how the sector works or where to begin.
We bridge this gap.

Sector Partners & Leaders

We are Trusted Talent Partners to Charities
"At Lions Befrienders, we are deeply intentional about the people who join our family because every individual we bring in carries the responsibility of touching the lives of vulnerable seniors with care, sensitivity and dignity.
In Courage Chapter, we have found more than a recruitment partner, we have found a kindred spirit who understands that in the social service sector, talent is not just about capability, but about heart, purpose and alignment to mission.
The candidates they have referred to us have consistently demonstrated sincerity, compassion and a strong resonance with our values. Each referral reflects Courage Chapter’s thoughtful discernment and genuine commitment to ensuring that the individuals placed within Lions Befrienders are not only professionally competent but emotionally attuned to the sacred work of eldercare.
What moves us most is their care in understanding who we are, our legacy, our vision and our unwavering belief that every senior deserves to age with dignity, connection and love. Their approach speaks of integrity, empathy and a belief in investing in people for the long term.
I am truly grateful for this partnership and for Courage Chapter’s role in helping us build a team that serves not merely as staff, but as companions, advocates and extended family to our seniors.
Together, we are shaping a workforce that brings light, comfort and companionship to those who need it most."
